Review highlights
Based on 1,136 reviewsOummi Bon Appetit Lebanese in London is widely regarded as a welcoming spot offering generous portions of authentic Lebanese cuisine. Reviewers frequently praise the flavorful grilled meats, including chicken shawarma, lamb dishes, and kofte, highlighting the quality and seasoning as standout features. The restaurant maintains a reasonable price point, appealing to both locals and tourists. The service is consistently noted as friendly and attentive, contributing to a positive dining experience. While the atmosphere is described as modest and somewhat quiet, touches like authentic music and culturally resonant decor add character. Additionally, the cleanliness, particularly of the facilities, receives positive mention. Minor critiques occasionally touch on inconsistencies in food preparation, such as overcooked chicken, but these are seen as rare and do not detract significantly from the overall favorable impression of this hidden gem.
Was hungry as I walked past so dropped in. I gave the friendly man behind the counter £7 and in return he gave me a tasty bowl full of chicken shawarma and chips. If you fancy a beer with your meal just pop to the off-license a few doors down and bring a bottle. There’s some authentic music to listen to as you eat, too.
Nice little place, busy and friendly. I ordered the chicken skewers, rice and salad. Unfortunately the chicken was very touch and over cooked, the rice and salad were good. Price was reasonable , maybe the chef had a bad day ?
Okay, the atmosphere is totally dead, but don't let that fool you. The food and service are very good indeed. Tourists do check them out. All types of lamb are seasoned well. Good portions. Juat as a side note, the toilets are very clean :)
Amazing hidden gem with some of the best Lebanese food I have tried and very generous portions! Highly recommended the grilled half chicken and rice, great flavours and juicy The staff are really friendly too, must pop in if you are nearby and looking for somewhere to grab food
A quick search on Google and we found a Gem, on entering I knew I was at home with the beautiful Palestine flag and decor of Al Aqsa, We ordered the starter which was a pastry with lamb mince and 2mains which was Kofte with Chips and Lamb cutlet and ribs with rice. I was so pleased with the service and Quality of the food this is my go to place now. May Allah bless this business with success
I recently visited Bon Appétit Lebanese Restaurant in London and had a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance is cozy. I tried the Chef’s Platter, which was delightful. The food overall was good, but I believe there’s room for improvement, particularly with the falafel. The friendly service and warm atmosphere made the visit worthwhile. With a bit more refinement, this place has great potential!
Great food by a very nice man. Had lentil soap, chops and rice all very good and good portions. Chops were tasty. Very reasonable price as well.
